DOC’s conservation policy has to be driven by what New Zealand people care about. But there is a mismatch between the public’s concerns and what is actually under threat. The Museum’s Curator of Natural History Dr Mike Dickison will talk about our ignored and forgotten endangered species and what we need to do to preserve our country’s natural heritage.
