Spring School Holiday Programmes

Date: 1-10-2018  to  12-10-2018

BACK TO THE 1930S

Join in with FREE holiday fun at Whanganui Regional Museum. Visit the Museum at 62 Ridgway Street to see the exhibition SNAP! Exploring the changing face of Whanganui. Become a heritage detective and match a set of picture clues with the buildings they belong to. Complete a holiday colouring activity while you are here, and liven up an old Whanganui building with some vibrant colours.

Take a trip back in time to the 1930s. Learn some traditional hand-crafts and enjoy making simple toys popular in the ‘30s. All children under 12 need to come with an adult. Pre-schoolers are welcome if they have an adult to help them one-to-one.

All session are FREE. A koha (donation) to cover costs is always appreciated.
Starting 1.00 pm each weekday from Monday 1 October to Friday 12 October. All programmes will be held at 62 Ridgway Street. Please note some sessions are two hours.
